Congratulations!  You are in the army of the Lord!  It doesn’t matter if you enlisted or were drafted; you’re in!!  A part of this privilege is to reach out to others as much as we can.  Time here is short and there are so many that need to know the Lord!

Recently, I was thinking about the “Y2K” incident that had so many people in fear.  During that time people thought all their money would disappear, that the stock market would crash, that the world would end etc.  Personally I was unsaved at the time and thought the world would end.  In fact, my mom told me the world would end in the year 2000.  Seriously, I was worried.  What’s more, I did not know what to do about it.  No one preached the true gospel to me.  No one ever approached me to tell me about Jesus’ love.  In fact, the college I was going to at the time had preachers that would roam the campus and tell everyone that they needed to repent or go to hell.  Now, even if I wanted to do this “thing” called repent, what did that really mean?  Even if I knew what that meant, I am not sure I would go up to the mean guy yelling out words of curse over me to do it.  Call me crazy.

What is interesting, is such a time is upon us again.  Many think the world is coming to an end in the year 2012 (according to the Mayan calendar).  The big difference between now and 2000 is prosperity.  In 2000 the whole of America lived in a certain level of wealth and blessing.  Today, that is not the case.  People no longer have the security of their money and this has taken fear to a whole new level.   What does this mean for the body of Christ?  Harvest time!!!!

I have said it in a few of my previous blogs and I will say it again, it is an Isaiah 60 time!  When the world get’s darker and more uncertain we get to be the ones to “arise, and shine” and provide solutions!  This is a time to start going back to those friends, neighbors and family members who once did not want to hear what you had to say about Jesus; many of them will have developed a “listening ear”.  This is a time to start offering hope to the ones who have not heard and this can be done ANYWHERE; not just on a formal mission trip, but right where you are on a daily basis.

Recently, I was doing an outreach in a mall and me and the group I was with drew pictures and wrote scriptures to give to whomever God highlighted.  It was an amazing success!  I made a “formal invitation to the heart of God” (half picture/half writing) for someone and when I found her not only did she say it made her day, but she had just been diagnosed with Lupus.  I got to pray for her healing and it was an amazing testimony to her daughter who was with her.  It was truly a God encounter. Another of our team ministered to a store worker who broke down into tears because she was so in need of a touch from the Lord.  Another ministered to a lady cleaning the table who also broke down in tears because of the level of love, honor and appreciation that was released.

People need to hear from God and God needs you to be the vessel.  You can do it!  You do not need a major prophetic word or to know someone’s address and birth date in order to be effective.  All you need is the genuine love, and compassion of the Lord and you are well equipped.  If you will yield to Him He will do the rest.  By the way, today is great day to start!  Go and let His perfect love flow that will cast out the fear of this lost and dying world.  Again, YOU are in the army of the Lord!!

Wow, what a time we live in.  Everything that can be shaken is being shaken!  The one thing I have seen is a great fear that has settled on the people.  When I go to grocery stores, restaurants etc. I can see the fear, worry and despair in their eyes.  What I also notice is myself looking into those eyes and smiling. Not being sarcastic or unfeeling, but to release the hope and love of the Lord they desperately need.  You see, we, the body of Christ don’t live in a shakable Kingdom.  I am not ignorant to what is going on around me; I simply live inside the Kingdom Heaven on earth where I am untouched.

So my question for you today is, in a world riddled with darkness and trouble; are you in the midst of the problem or are you part of the solution?  The Kingdom of God does not have recession.  The Kingdom of God does not have sickness.  The Kingdom of God does not have fear, hopelessness or despair; and who are we?  CHILDREN OF THE KINGDOM!

Maybe, you are reading this and you have been affected by these shakings.  Let me invite you to feel no condemnation about this.  When God brings shakings, it is not to accuse or condemn (that’s the enemies tactics) He does it to bring redemption.  He does it so all the leaven is removed from your life so we will have nothing in common with the enemy.  So if you have been affected, go before the Lord, repent and ask Him to bring you into alignment.  Also, there is a promise for you!  God will restore everything that the locusts have eaten and you will have abundance (Joel 2:25-27).

If you are one living in blessing and overflow in the midst of the shakings; awesome!!  This is the time you are to arise and shine with the Glory of God!  The question is, are you offering hope to those who are not where you are?  This includes saved and unsaved.  I don’t know about you, but I live in such a “blessing zone” that I have to constantly remind myself that most of the world does not live where I do.  I praise God everyday for His goodness to me; but this goodness and blessing is to be shared.  In Isaiah 60, it states that when you shine the Glory of God the people will come! Both commoners and Kings!   Think of this!  When you make His Glory known through your life whether it is the blessing you live in, the excellence with which you work, the healing power that flows forth you, your peace in the midst of storm, Kings and commoners will come and you can direct them to the Lord!

The harvest is white!  We have the privilege of being the workers.  People need hope.  They need they true gospel of the Kingdom.  Ask the Lord today how you can offer hope to the hopeless.  Let the Lord show you how your very life in Him can reflect and shine the Glory of God.  The people He loves are waiting.

I was reading this amazing book called, “Doing Business God’s Way” by Dennis Peacock.  I have not read the whole thing as of yet, but I can say with confidence it a book you should read.  You might be thinking, “Why would I do that, I’m not going into business or even in business for the matter?”  But allow me to unfold a few things for you.  I am currently doing a business in the natural sense of the word and I heard the same recommendation for this book that I am giving you now.  I was simply looking to gain some insight on God’s perspective of doing business, but in the midst of this I also gained some amazing revelation that will change the way you look at your life and destiny on this earth!

In this book, Peacock makes a very profound observation.  The institution of church is full of people who have salvation and do love God, but their main focus has been on the benefits (God’s blessings) and the retirement plan (going to heaven).  The have however, forgotten that they are to be about the Father’s business (Luke 2:49)!  In Luke 19:13 (KJV) it says “occupy until I come”.  I think in many ways we have misconstrued that verse to mean “keep yourself occupied until I come and sweep you away from this evil world”.  Jesus came to this earth to establish a Kingdom; not create a religion.  When you read the parables of Jesus Christ you will first see that the number one topic is “The Kingdom” and what it is like.  You will also see many of the parables are about stewardship of money, talent etc. and what happens to those who steward well and those who do not.  If we are truly followers of Jesus then why do we not take heed to these lessons?

The ability to fulfill the original command given to Adam by God, was restored to us when Jesus died; be fruitful, multiply, take dominion, subdue the earth (Genesis 1:28).  In other words, occupy!  Begin to establish His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven!  This is truly what we are here for; to be about the Fathers business!

We have to understand that the darkness that we see all around us is happening on our watch!  So the question is will you do something about it so that the kingdom in darkness is displaced by the advancement of His kingdom or will you simply wait to be swept away by some mighty cosmic arm as the world continues to crash down around you?  Your destiny is within this plan to establish God’s Kingdom on earth and it was written before the foundation of the world (Psalm 139:16), it is a good plan (Jeremiah 29:11), and you are invited to “go up” (Revelation 4:1) and see what has been hidden for you (Proverbs 25:2) so that you can have it and administrate it on earth (Deuteronomy 29:29).  Yay God!!!

This is an Isaiah 60 time friends!  The darkness is raging around us but we are invited to ARISE and shine God’s Glory.  This existence can no longer be a spectator sport for the church and it demands that Kingdom minded people who will be about the Father’s business come forth and walk according to the original plan of God.  What Glory does it give Him if we remain in a weakened, defeated state with such power and wisdom at our disposal?  What does it really say about us and how we have used our time here if we stand before Him with nothing to show but a world in devastation and millions of souls in hell?  Please remember the “well done good and faithful servant” was given to the one who did something with what was given them.  The other, well, you know what happens.  So which one are you?

Oh to live naturally supernatural; to see the things that Jesus saw coming forth from us, the vessel of God.  It is exciting and glorious.  My question is, how much of the supernatural are you seeing your life?  If you see a measure of it are you pressing in for more?  I am going to share an amazing testimony with you that I think will build your faith and hopefully inspire you to begin to seek God more diligently so that your life would display the heavenly kingdom on earth as it is in heaven (Hebrews 11:6).

The other day my roommate and friend came to me and asked me to pray for a young lady whose water broke and was about to go into labor 6 weeks early.  Now, I don’t think I have to tell you how dangerous this is for the child so I began to pray.

Before I finish my story I need to share something with you.  Recently, some friends and mentors of mine gave me an amazing revelation that has revolutionized the way I pray.  They talked about the books of your life that were written before the foundations of the world in Psalm 139:16.  Before you got here, your life was written out and planned.  However, the enemy comes after you, you make choices that aren’t the wisest and as a result things don’t quite go as planned.  Please understand me when I say this:  pain, suffering, rejection, violence were NOT written into those books!  God knows the plans He has for you and they were to prosper you and NOT to HARM you, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).  Trials may come and God can use those trials to refine you, but He is not the author of them.  So what does this mean?  This means when situations like these arise you can begin to pray and ask the Lord about the content of the books of that person’s life and then call the situation into alignment!

Long story short, I prayed in this way for the child and then went about my day.  Later, my roommate came back and said that the girl did not into labor and that her water had broken but it somehow filled back up!!  Yay!!!  That is awesome!  Go God!  I have to tell you that a great big victory dance came forth from this (LOL).  It’s not that this was in any way hard for God, but I am just grateful for a very simple yet powerful revelation in prayer that possibly saved a child’s life and dare I say, got the child back in alignment with the books of his or her life.

Now, I challenge you to take this revelation, go before God with it, study it out, and try it.  There certain situations when you really don’t need to have a five hour prayer meeting to see an answer.  God is releasing revelation today that helps us to fight smarter and not harder.  Of course, there will always be the situations where we must persevere in prayer.  I am simply passing on a key to you in which was passed on to me that will help you live and flow more easily in the supernatural.  Be blessed!
